Your donations save lives

In 2023 you gave £42,352.46 and we spent £48,343.90 on life saving missions.

Adoption fees for the year totaled just over £21,000, but was easily outweighed by vet bills, transport costs and supplies in foster at £23,500, £7,700 and £3,600 respectively. The vast majority of our adoption fees don't get anywhere near covering the real cost of rescuing an animal.

We believe that the true meaning of rescue isn't to just take in healthy animals so other sources of income are vital to continue our work. We're lucky to have such a strong supporter base who gave a total of over £14,000 in general donations. A further £154 was donated specifically for our "wonky" animals who need a little extra care. In 2023, we developed partnerships with small business who worked hard to raise over £2,000 between them. We hope to develop more professional relationships in 2024.

£625 was given for our spay and neuter mission and we'll organise an event later in 2024 with our partners overseas. Like many animal welfare groups, we believe that responsible neutering is the most ethical, safe and effective way of reducing stray populations worldwide and will lead to improved animal welfare globally.
