Adoption Next Steps
We require some photographs prior to your homecheck. This is both for our compliance and so we can discuss any concerns prior to the visit.
Photos of the main living areas of your home:
Hallways, lounge, kitchen, dining room, etc. Please do not send photos of bedrooms or bathrooms, unless they will be used as your new pet’s decompression room.
Photo ID and proof of address:
We can accept a driving licence, passport, citizen card or workplace badge as photo ID. A driving licence can also be used as proof of address, alternatively we can accept a bank statement or household bill. Please be sure to cover any account numbers or otherwise sensitive data.
Photos of your garden/outside space if you have one:
Please make sure to photograph the entire outside space, showing all gates and fences in their entirety.
Landlord permission:
If you rent, we require written permission from your landlord to keep a/another pet, or a copy of your tenancy agreement stating that pets are allowed. We can accept a text or email from your landlord, as long as it includes your full name, their full name, the property address, and the number and types of total animals permitted (for example, permission for four pets - two cats and two dogs.)
