Chase is growing into a happy and confident cat in foster. He can often be found playing and getting up to mischief with his best friend, another male cat. He is very affectionate and naturally gravitates more towards women and children. A family who are home often is ideal for him as he thrives on affection. Chase may need time to adjust in a new home and will require patience and understanding. He must be an indoor only cat but a secure catio is optional.

Chase has a heart condition, congenital aortic stenosis. His aortic valve is narrowed, meaning his heart has to work harder to pump blood around his body. It is likely that his lifespan will be shortened as a result, but we don’t know by how much. He was prescribed blood thinners but experienced side effects that severely affected his wellbeing.

Becoming a permanent foster means sharing responsibility for an animal with us. You’ll cover day-to-day costs including food, litter, and routine medical appointments. The charity acts as your safety net for the life-long health condition and is responsible for anything relating to this.
