Cleo is described as sweet, gentle and growing in confidence. Once she decides she trusts someone, she loves them completely and is happy to receive attention on her own terms. Cleo lives with six other cats in foster and keeps a respectful distance from them. She has a better relationship with the more passive and easy-going cats over the more confident or nervous cats and can chase away cats she doesn’t want near her.
It’s likely that Cleo will reach her pull potential as an only cat, with a calm family who can give her the time and patience to adjust in her own time. She’ll probably remain slightly nervous and skittish with new people or experiences. Going to the vet causes her a bit of distress, so may need calming medications beforehand. We don’t believe she had been to the vet before arriving into our care so she may improve as she has more frequent and positive experiences.
Overall Cleo is a special soul who is desperate to be understood. The right family with patience and respect will be rewarded with a wonderful and loving companion.
