Frederick is an independent, yet affectionate boy. While he’s not a lap cat, he does enjoy human company and has recently started to lay belly-up in the middle of the floor to ensure he’s noticed! He has a cautious nature and can become nervous around very noisy or excited children. Aside form this, he shows no other fears.
He can be grumpy with other cats, and will sometimes chase them if they don’t respect his space. If rehomed with another cat, they would need to be similarly independent to Frederick and have a laid-back nature.
Frederick could adapt to a variety of homes, including a busy home with lots of activity. He’d be happy as an indoor cat or with access to the outdoors. Our preference would be an indoor home for safety reasons, but could consider a home with outdoor access away from busy roads.
