Odette is a loving and affectionate cat who enjoys attention, gentle strokes, and belly rubs. In foster care, she has gained confidence, often snuggling on her foster's lap in the evening and playing energetically with toys.
She lives with a slightly a slightly older male cat. She tries to play with him, but when he reciprocates, she quickly loses her temper with him. Odette could happily be an only pet, or could live with one other cat who will respect her space and quirks.
Having lost her right eye as a kitten, most likely due to an infection from being born stray, her disability doesn’t impact her daily life, and she has no ongoing health conditions due to her eye. She must, however, remain as an indoor only cat for the rest of her life.
Odette’s perfect home is fairly quiet as she can be spooked by loud noises. Her family will be a little patient in the beginning as she builds confidence, but will be hugely rewarded when she decides she can trust them.
