Olly’s foster says he has the gentlest soul and describes him as a complete sweetheart. Following a traumatic past, he’s completely relearned how to be a dog and has turned into a happy, playful and gentle boy. He may take some time to adjust to a new home so will need a family with lots of understanding and patience. Once he trusts someone, he is happy to initiate and receive play and attention.
In foster, Olly lives with five other dogs of various shapes and sizes and has thrived in their presence. He will require at least one dog in his new home to boost his confidence, but shows no preference on age, sex or breed. He is very intelligent and quick to learn new things.
Olly enjoys short walks of around 20 minutes and is working on losing some excess weight. He adores water and will go out of his way to walk through puddles.
He can be left for a few hours alone quite happily and has never shown any destructive behaviours. He can be a food scavenger and has figured out how to open the treat drawer. All dog and non-dog food stuffs will need to be stored in high cupboards.
