Pitta is described as a gentle giant with an easy-going nature. Having settled into foster remarkably quickly, this confident chap wasted no time in showing off his confident and inquisitive personality. Pitta has no issues with humans of any age and while he appreciates a fuss, he can’t be described as a lap cat.
In foster, Pitta lives with another cat but can be an accidental nuisance - he will often invade the other cat’s personal space and can misread her trying to escape him for wanting a game of chase. He shows no signs of aggression, but just isn’t sure how to make friends respectfully. During a visit from a friend with a dog, Pitta was very fearful and hid away until they left. This boy’s loveable personality is likely to shine best as an only pet.
Before arriving into our care, Pitta lived with young children and had access to the outdoors. He could easily adapt to a busy environment where he can spend time inside and outside of the home.
