Poppy is described as very even-tempered towards people and happy to accept affection. She enjoys a good head rub and has learnt to dive under her foster’s hand to gain one! Having arrived in foster fairly anxious, Poppy’s fosters have seen a huge improvement thanks to lots of patience and gently talking to her. It’s likely Poppy will take a little longer to adjust to a new environment so her new family will need to take things at her pace.
Poppy has lived with another cat but didn’t tolerate her very well. Her housemate was a younger female, but Poppy is likely to prefer being an only pet. She’s not met any dogs, but is unlikely to appreciate a canine companion.
The ideal home for Poppy would be a pet-free indoor only home. She is intendant enough to live in a home with a working family, or with calm children aged 12+.
